Young Boy with Golden Buttons and Big Stick, Atmospheric and Character-full Antique Tintype in Original Sleeve etched Right: 4 7/8" t x

Right: 4 7/8" t x 2" w x 2 1/2" d

The wood frame shows some age and wear

in this very Arts and Crafts feeling palette and with an almost Cubist feeling to the faceting of that dusty rose color

un-patterned color

Some paint loss around the edges and plenty of wear and stains (I did since clean what I think was a little bird poop on the 3)

Young Boy with Golden Buttons and Big Stick, Atmospheric and Character-full Antique Tintype in Original Sleeve etched Right: 4 7/8" t xWhat a character this little boy, looking very much ready to take on the world, like a young David about to face off against Goliath. Though he definitely appears ready to wield it like a sword, i'm really not sure what it is he's got in his hand, maybe some piece of scrap metal? With a polka dotted shirt enhanced by gilded buttons, and hand painted gold buckles on his shoes, too. Very moody and larger than life! As mounted: 3 15 16 x 2 7 16; tintype
